Our “village” is a big one and we all work very hard to organize and run our adoption events and other programs. Please join us in our commitment to do whatever we can to help dogs in need![/vc_column_text][vcex_spacing size=”30px”][vc_column_text]We have two kinds of adoption events – the larger event we have a few times per year and smaller, monthly events which feature dogs from The Red Dog Project. We rely on community help for all of our events and at our larger events we can easily put more than 100 volunteers to work! Read through the adoption event team descriptions below and see if any sound right for you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][vcex_bullets style=”check”]

We usually see at least 600 people visit these events on the weekend. You may register to bring your dogs for one or both days. We have volunteers who will assist your rescue in any way you need or you may manage your dogs and the adoption process with your own volunteers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Out of State Rescues, Pounds or Shelters” tab_id=”1422393763-2-68c08b-cfb7ddb8-5506″][vc_column_text]Out of state rescues, pounds or shelters are invited to attend our larger events once registration opens. Our rescue coordinator will send you a file to review before deciding if you would like to attend our event. Please review this information carefully, it’s complicated getting dogs into the state of Connecticut but worth the effort! We have great adopters here and our volunteers will help you in any way that we can.

We know getting dogs from a pound into a public event can be difficult and we will do whatever we can to help. While ACO’s must register their dogs to attend they do not need to come both days and we have many volunteers who will help with transport or any other request to get CT shelter dogs to our adoption event.

Please make sure you register your rescue with us if you’ve never done so. You only have to register your rescue once but you register every dog you’re bringing into any given event.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
