Find Adopters Save Dogs

Volunteering for Dog Days
We’re always looking for dedicated, compassionate people to help us further our mission. We have training programs for kids as young as 8 years old up to adults so the entire family can participate in finding homes for shelter dogs in need! FUNDRAISING HELP Click here to fill out our events form! We always need admin and PR help too!!

GENERAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS Ages 16 and older who attend registration the Thursday before the event weekend. They help walk and water dogs during the events.

RANGERS Volunteers over the age of 17 may train as dog “managers” at our adoption events. These people are confident dealing with the general public, knowledgable about working with dogs and are willing to go through at least 8 hours of pre-event training.

SCOUTS Young adults ages 12 through 16 may train as our shelter dog network experts - they use their social networking skills to work with rescues and pounds coming into our adoption events and they upload pictures and stories about the dogs to our Petfinder and Adopt a Pet listings. Community service hours are given.

STARS Our youngest but fiercely dedicated volunteer group are called “Dog Days Stars” and they’re ages 8 through 12. Stars fundraise for our events by selling lemonade, donating items for our fundraisers or asking for shelter dog supplies for birthday donations.
