Find Adopters Save Dogs

Attending Municipal Pounds
Dog Days was initially conceived to help hard to adopt dogs, like older dogs and the bully breeds by putting them into an adoption event with small breeds and puppies. We understand that muni dogs will need more volunteer help and cannot comply with the vetting criteria we set for rescues. Dogs coming from the municipal pounds have a different criteria for intake and we work with each pound to figure the best way to get their dogs into the event.

If you can, please register you dogs coming into the event so we have an idea for how to allocate space. We can always have too many kennels, hate to have too few!

ALL MUNICIPAL PARTICIPANTS:
--None of the dogs coming in from the municipal pound can have a bite report
--None of the dogs coming in can have a history of any kind of aggression with either other dogs or people.
--Any adoptions of a dog not spayed or neutered or vetted must take place off site from our event.
--We encourage you to fundraise at this event for your organization or those who support you.

We have volunteers willing to pick up muni dogs, groom them, watch them overnight and return them after the event is over Sunday at 4:00pm. We hope you will take this opportunity to expose the dogs in your care to a large number of loving adopters who may be the right fit for your dog. Anything we can do to help you we will do, please just ask.
